The musical tells the story of two Salt Lake City Mormons sent as missionaries to Uganda, hoping for a few baptisms and a couple of conversions. Instead, they are welcomed by some very harsh realities and a particularly unpleasant warlord. The lyrics are guaranteed to have you weeping with laughter, and you'll almost certainly be humming the music by Avenue Q's Robert Lopez for weeks after. It's fun, lightweight, but thought-provoking, too; addressing everything from consumerism to religion, The Book of Mormon is a musical like no other. Its staggering and well-deserved success make it a real must-see.

"It's simply a work of genius, so brilliantly conceived and executed that it makes astonishingly savage and sophisticated satire into joyous, hilarious, literally all-singing, all-dancing fun and glamour." \- The Guardian
"Trey Parker and Matt Stone might just be the saviours of the modern musical. The result isn't just great: it's monumental" ★★★★★ - Huffpost Comedy
